Volleyball Recap: The Master's Academy Takes a Loss

The Master's Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Pinnacle Classical Academy Eagles, falling 3-0. The Lions were not able to make up for their defeat to the Eagles from their previous meeting back in August of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-6, 25-8, 25-7.

Lily Wellmon went supernova For Pinnacle Classical Academy., getting 12 aces and eight kills. Wellmon has been hot for a while, having posted five or more kills the last 21 times she's played. Another player making a difference was Evie Harmon, who had nine assists and six aces.

The Master's Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Pinnacle Classical Academy, their win bumped their record up to 9-3.

The Master's Academy has already played their next match (against Lake Lure Classical Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Pinnacle Classical Academy, they will head out to square off against Varsity Opponent at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
