Baseball Recap: Champion Takes a Loss

Champion managed to slip by Grand Valley the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Golden Flashes lost 8-0 to the Mustangs on Wednesday. The Golden Flashes were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Mustangs apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2021.

Champion's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Grand Valley, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Champion will face off against McDonald at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Grand Valley, they will take on Chalker at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
