Flag Football Recap: Lompoc Extends Winning Streak to Three

Lompoc had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 16.5 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They skirted past the Windward Wildcats 20-18. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Braves' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' California flag football rankings (they are ranked 155th, while the Wildcats are ranked 446th).

The critical scores for Lompoc came from Indigo Partridge, Lynette Miguel, and Brynn Reyna.

On the defensive side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Lompoc's defense and their four sacks. Windward's QB won't forget Ava Adams anytime soon given she sacked her twice.

Lompoc's victory bumped their record up to 10-3. As for Windward, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-6.

Lompoc wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 27-0 loss against Bakersfield Christian on the 4th. As for Windward, they have also already played their next game, a 13-6 defeat against Paso Robles on the 4th.
