Softball Recap: Gettysburg Comes Up Short

Monday just wasn't the day for Gettysburg's offense. They took a 5-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hershey Trojans on Monday. The defeat continues a trend for the Warriors in their meetings with the Trojans: they've now lost five in a row.

Gettysburg's loss dropped their record down to 4-14. As for Hershey, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-6 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Gettysburg will take on Bishop McDevitt at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Hershey, they will face off against Red Land at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Trojans will need to watch out since the Patriots have now posted at least ten runs in their last three matchups.
