Basketball Recap: Ayersville Takes a Loss

Ayersville saw some tournament action on Friday. They took a 53-46 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Van Buren Black Knights.

Ayersville has also traveled a rocky road recently having lost nine of their last 12 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-15 record this season. Van Buren is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-7 record this season.

Ayersville does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Van Buren, they will square off against Evergreen at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
