Basketball Recap: West Broward Takes a Loss

West Broward lost against McArthur back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The West Broward Bobcats came up short against the McArthur Mustangs, falling 47-22. The Bobcats just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead McArthur to victory, but perhaps none more so than Christina Casseus, who went 6 for 14 on her way to 17 points in addition to five rebounds and three steals. Casseus continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Amor Johnson, who posted eight points and seven steals.

West Broward's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6. As for McArthur, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-5.

West Broward will head out to square off against Stranahan at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. West Broward is facing Stranahan at the right time seeing as Stranahan is stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for McArthur, they will square off against Piper at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
