Softball Recap: Marysville-Pilchuck Takes a Loss

Marysville-Pilchuck was the 22-14 winner over Mariner when they last played one another two weeks ago, but their luck changed this time around. The Tomahawks fell just short of the Marauders by a score of 12-11 on Wednesday. The Tomahawks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Marysville-Pilchuck's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Mariner, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-7.

Looking ahead, Marysville-Pilchuck will host Marysville Getchell at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Marysville-Pilchuck's pitchers better be ready for this one: Marysville Getchell has averaged an impressive 8.1 runs per game this season. As for Mariner, they will head out to take on Arlington at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
