Asheboro entered their tilt with Eastern Randolph on Wednesday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They blew past the Wildcats 3-0. That's more bragging rights for the Blue Comets, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Asheboro not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Eastern Randolph between 15 and 16 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-15, 25-15.

Emma Kate Forester paced Asheboro's offense, picking up 12 kills. Forester got some help from Eva Vuncannon and her 21 assists. Emma Ingold controlled things from the service line, finishing with six aces.

Asheboro's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Eastern Randolph, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Asheboro will venture away from home to face off against Wheatmore at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Eastern Randolph, they will head out to square off against Providence Grove at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
