Volleyball Recap: Lyons Beats James Irwin for Their Fifth Straight Win

Lyons came tearing into Saturday's contest with four straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the James Irwin Jaguars as they made off with a 3-0 victory.

Lyons found their leader in sophomore Gwen Gadbaw, who had eight digs and two aces.

Lyons was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 15 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces every time they've taken the court this season.

Lyons' win bumped their record up to 19-2. As for James Irwin, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-17.
