 It was a good run, but  Boiling Springs unfortunately witnessed the end of their  five-game winning streak on Monday. They lost  14-8 to the West Perry Mustangs. Boiling Springs was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as West Perry apparently hadn't forgotten their  loss the last time these teams played  two weeks ago.
  Josh Snyder was huge no matter where he played even without the win. He  tossed four innings while giving up just two earned  (and three unearned) runs off   four  hits. Snyder was also solid in the batter's box,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while going 3-for-4.
 In other batting news,  Jonah Richardson made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and  scored two  runs and  stole two bases while going 2-for-4.
 Boiling Springs' defeat dropped their record down to 8-4. As for West Perry,  the  victory  made it two in a row for them and  bumps their season record up to 5-9.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Boiling Springs will take on Shippensburg at 4:30  p.m.  on Wednesday. Boiling Springs will be looking to keep their four-game home win streak  alive. West Perry will take on Waynesboro at 4:30  p.m.  on Wednesday. West Perry will be hoping to continue their three-game streak of scoring more  runs each  match than the last.
