In what's become a running theme this season, the Kirby Prep Griffins gave their fans yet another huge win on Friday. They blew past Anzar 47-27. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory Kirby Prep has posted yet this season.

Kirby Prep got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Nate Kawasaki out in front who scored 13 points along with seven steals and six rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Kawasaki has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Rain Li, who scored 14 points along with five rebounds and two steals.

Kirby Prep has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 4-6 record this season. As for Anzar, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-6.

Kirby Prep and Pacific Collegiate will face off at 7:00 p.m. on January 19th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Pacific Collegiate has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games. Anzar will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Trinity Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
