Volleyball Recap: Southwest Virginia Academy Triumphs

After losing to The Carmel School the last time they met, Southwest Virginia Academy decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Conquerors came out on top against the Wildcats by a score of 2-0 on Saturday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Conquerors.

Despite the loss, The Carmel School still got an impressive performance from Mikaela Stroud, who had eight digs and one assist. Olivia Pack also deserves some recognition as she had her first dig of the season.

Southwest Virginia Academy's victory bumped their record up to 14-7. As for The Carmel School, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-10.

Southwest Virginia Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Faith Christian Academy on the 6th. As for The Carmel School, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-1 victory against St. Michael the Archangel on the 8th.
