Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Richmond Heights). They really took it to the Hawken Hawks for the full four quarters, racking up a 69-38 victory. The Spartans have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six contests by 20 points or more this season.

Hawken's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Sasha Miller, who posted 13 points. Sarah Liu was another key player, putting up nine points.

Richmond Heights is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.3 points per game. As for Hawken, they are on an 18-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-11.

Richmond Heights and Hawken could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings. Richmond Heights (ranked 189th) will meet St. Vincent-St. Mary (ranked 29th) at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Hawken will take on Chagrin Falls at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday down 426 places (738 vs. 312).
