Winning always takes teamwork, but on Friday Chap Chapman stepped things up a notch to give Athens Academy the 'W'. Chapman threw for 103 yards and one TD on only nine passes, and also punched in one rushing score. The performance also marked the most passer rating (142.4) he has had since back in August of 2024.

Chapman and Athens Academy will challenge John Milledge Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Chapman will face off against Lewis Cheney, the Trojans' star signal caller.
