While Hamilton's victory against Cooperstown wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Emerald Knights sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over the Hawkeyes on Thursday. Hamilton have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw Cooperstown, too.

Dylan George and Jude Page-Fagon scored both of Hamilton's goals, bringing their combined season tally to eight goals.

Hamilton's victory bumped their record up to 6-1.

Coincidentally, Hamilton and Cooperstown will both be playing Waterville the next time they take the pitch. The Hawkeyes will host the Indians at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Emerald Knights will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
