Soccer Game Preview: Laguna Beach vs. St. Margaret's

The Laguna Beach Breakers will venture away from home to take on the St. Margaret's Tartans at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.

Laguna Beach is headed into the matchup having not lost since the tenth and will look to keep things rolling. They and Woodbridge finished up on equal footing with a 0-0 draw on Monday.

Meanwhile, St. Margaret's game on Monday was all tied up 1-1 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They had just enough and edged Irvine out 2-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Tartans.

St. Margaret's is also on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a massive bump to their 6-4-5 record this season. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those four games. Laguna Beach's draw makes their record 8-4-4 this season.

Laguna Beach came out on top in a nail-biter against St. Margaret's in their previous matchup on January 7th, sneaking past 2-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for Laguna Beach since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
