Soccer Recap: Eagle Rock Finds Playoff Glory Versus Legacy

It's playoff time, and Eagle Rock had no trouble coming through when it counted. They had just enough and edged out the Legacy Tigers 3-2. Winning may never get old, but the Eagles sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

They hit Legacy with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Arturo Solorzano, Jackson McBride, and Benjamin Martinez.

Eagle Rock's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-4. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 17 goals over those five contests. As for Legacy, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-10 record this season.

Eagle Rock will square off against Kennedy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Kennedy will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Eagle Rock surely won't give up without a fight. Legacy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
