Marion came out on top against Graham on Wednesday thanks in part to the team's impressive eight-run fourth inning. The Scarlet Hurricanes put the hurt on the G-Men with a sharp 12-2 win. The victory continues a trend for the Scarlet Hurricanes in their matchups with the G-Men: they've now won six in a row.

Marion's win bumped their record up to 8-11. As for Graham, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost ten of their last 11 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-11 record this season.

Marion will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Richlands at 6:00 p.m. The Blue Tornado's pitching crew has only allowed 3.4 runs per game this season, so the Scarlet Hurricanes' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Graham, they will head out on the road to square off against Virginia High at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The G-Men are facing the Bearcats at the right time seeing as the Bearcats are stuck on a 14-game losing streak.
