Softball Recap: Nottoway Comes Up Short

After flying high against Prince Edward County on Tuesday, Nottoway came back down to earth. The Cougars took a 5-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Randolph-Henry Statesmen on Thursday. The Cougars were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Statesmen earlier this season, when they won 3-2.

Nottoway's loss dropped their record down to 13-8. As for Randolph-Henry, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-11.

As of now, neither Nottoway nor the Statesmen have any future games scheduled.
