Volleyball Recap: Smithton Has No Trouble Against Bunceton

Smithton not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since September 22nd (when they won 3-0). They blew past the Bunceton Dragons 3-0. The Tigers haven't had any issues with the Dragons recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Smithton took every set by at least 13 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-6, 25-8, 25-12.

Aubree Huddleston paced Smithton's offense, picking up 12 kills. Huddleston got some help from Carolina Houston and her 14 assists. Drew Bray controlled things from the service line, finishing with seven aces.

Smithton's win bumped their record up to 8-10. As for Bunceton, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-7.

Smithton didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-1 loss against Stover on the 7th. As for Bunceton, they will face off against Sweet Springs at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
