Make it seven blowout wins for the Capistrano Valley Christian Eagles this season. They took their game at home on Thursday with ease, bagging a 57-6 win over NOVA Academy. With Capistrano Valley Christian ahead 40-0 at the half, the match was all but over already.
Capistrano Valley Christian's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Trae Johnson, who scored 13 points. Another player making a difference was Matthew Ahern, who scored seven points along with two steals.
Capistrano Valley Christian's victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 10-12. As for NOVA Academy, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-9.
