Soccer Game Preview: Brainerd vs. Marion County

The Brainerd Panthers will be defending their home pitch for the first time this season when they go up against the Marion County Warriors at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Brainerd is coming home looking for redemption after taking a loss in their road opener. They fell just short of Grace Baptist Academy by a score of 2-1 on Monday.

Meanwhile, Marion County unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-pitch advantage in their season opener. They lost 7-0 to St. Andrews-Sewanee on Tuesday.
