Basketball Recap: Davenport Central Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

With a playoff win on the line, Davenport Central rose to the challenge on Friday. They managed a 55-51 win over the Iowa City West Trojans. For the Blue Devils, this counts as revenge for the 72-46 victory the Trojans walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February of 2019.

Davenport Central moved to 16-8 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for Iowa City West, they moved to 13-9 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Coming up, Davenport Central will challenge Central Clinton at 7:30 p.m. on March 7th. Iowa City West does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
