Recap: First Flight Nighthawks vs. Holmes Aces
The First Flight Nighthawks won the last time they faced the Holmes Aces, and things went their way on Tuesday too. First Flight enjoyed a cozy 65-50 win over Holmes.
It was another big night for Mason Dobie, who scored 14 points. Burke Powers was another key contributor, scoring nine points.
First Flight's victory ended a seven-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 6-9. As for Holmes, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-6.
First Flight's road trip will continue as they head out to face Pasquotank County at 7:30 p.m. on January 19th. As for Holmes, they will be playing at home against Camden County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
