Baseball Game Preview: Greenup County Musketeers vs. DeSales Colts

The Greenup County Musketeers will head out on the road to take on the DeSales Colts at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses apiece.

Greenup County came up short against Scott County on Monday, falling 13-4.

Greenup County saw eight different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ty Logan, who scored a run while going 1-for-3. Hunter Holbrook also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Meanwhile, DeSales didn't have quite enough to beat Chicago Christian on Monday and fell 9-8. That's two games in a row now that the Colts have lost by just one run.

Greenup County now has a losing record of 4-5. As for DeSales, their loss dropped their record down to 7-4.

Greenup County might still be hurting after the 18-5 defeat they got from DeSales when the teams last played back in April of 2024. Can Greenup County avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
