Basketball Game Preview: Gar-Field Red Wolves vs. Potomac Senior Panthers

Gar-Field is 0-10 against Potomac Senior since February of 2019 but things could change on Friday. The Gar-Field Red Wolves are taking a road trip to challenge the Potomac Senior Panthers at 5:30 p.m.

Gar-Field is headed into Friday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their ninth straight game on Wednesday. They were dealt a 56-27 defeat at the hands of Osbourn.

Meanwhile, Potomac Senior came tearing into Tuesday's match with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 18.5 points) and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 60-47 win over the Sharks.

Potomac Senior pushed their record up to 10-4 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.0 points per game. As for Gar-Field, their loss dropped their record down to 2-18.

Gar-Field took a serious blow against Potomac Senior in their previous meeting back in January, falling 83-19. Can Gar-Field avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
