After a string of four wins, Topsail's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. Neither they nor the Laney Buccaneers could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 2-2 draw. The result kept Topsail happy, as they haven't lost a game since September 15th.

With that draw, Topsail's record moves to 8-5-2. Meanwhile, Laney's record is now 15-1-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Topsail is set to face off against their familiar foe New Hanover at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Laney will take on their in-conference opponent North Brunswick at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
