Volleyball Recap: Palo Verde Comes Up Short

Palo Verde lost against Douglas back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Titans came up short against the Bulldogs, falling 3-0. The Titans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The final score came out to 25-15, 25-14, 25-10.

Douglas can attribute much of their success to Janessa Sanchez, who had ten digs.

Palo Verde's defeat dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Douglas, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season.

Palo Verde has already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Amphitheater on the 26th. As for Douglas, they will challenge Cholla at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. This will be the Bulldogs' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
