Basketball Recap: Ten Straight Road Wins for Green County

Green County hadn't done well against Larue County recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Green County Dragons secured a 69-65 W over the Larue County Hawks. Winning may never get old, but the Dragons sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Green County pushed their record up to 17-2 with the win, which was their tenth straight on the road. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 74.0 points per game. As for Larue County, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 14-8.

Green County and Larue County should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Kentucky Rankings. Green County will face off against Hart County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday up 161 places (16 vs. 177). Similarly, Larue County (ranked 45th) will meet Bethlehem (ranked 145th) at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
