Baseball Recap: Reeltown Comes Up Short

After flying high against Montgomery Academy last Tuesday, Reeltown came back down to earth. Reeltown fell just short of the Charles Henderson Trojans by a score of 4-3 on Thursday.

Reeltown's loss dropped their record down to 13-6. As for Charles Henderson, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-9 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Reeltown will challenge Wetumpka at 1:00 p.m. on Friday. Wetumpka's pitching crew has only allowed 3.8 runs per game this season, so Reeltown's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Charles Henderson, they will take on Autauga Academy at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
