Basketball Recap: El Dorado Takes a Loss

El Dorado suffered their closest defeat since January 9, 2024 on Friday. They fell just short of the Hot Springs Trojans by a score of 61-58. The Wildcats were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Trojans earlier this season, when they won 62-58.

El Dorado's loss dropped their record down to 7-10. As for Hot Springs, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a massive bump to their 17-9 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. El Dorado will welcome Lake Hamilton at 6:00 p.m. on February 21st. As for Hot Springs, they will be playing at home against Arkansas at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
