Loveland lost to Lebanon on Monday, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Wednesday. The Tigers skirted past the Warriors 3-1. The game was the first time the Tigers have beaten the Warriors on their field since April 19, 2023.

Drew Oerther tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits while striking out 12 over five innings pitched. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Luke Varadachari, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI. Brady Stidham was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one double.

Loveland's record now sits at 11-2. As for Lebanon, they moved to 7-5 with that defeat, which also ended their six-game winning streak.

Loveland and Lebanon should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings. The Tigers (ranked seventh) will meet Kings (ranked 322nd) at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Lebanon will take on Walnut Hills at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday with a big rank advantage (104 vs. 388).
