Righetti has gone a perfect 8-0 against Santa Maria recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. After both having extra time off, the two teams will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:00 p.m. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Righetti took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over Lompoc.

Meanwhile, Santa Maria hadn't done well against Pioneer Valley recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Wednesday. The Saints won by a set and slipped past the Panthers 3-2. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Saints as it put an end to their six-match losing streak.

Santa Maria wouldn't go down easily and took Pioneer Valley into a fifth set where they got it done with a nine-point win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-15, 20-25, 15-25, 15-6.

Righetti's win bumped their record up to 5-15. As for Santa Maria, their victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 4-17.

Righetti was able to grind out a solid win over Santa Maria in their previous matchup back in September, winning 2-0. Will the Warriors repeat their success, or do the Saints have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
