Springfield waltzed into their contest on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the Slaughter Community Charter Knights by a score of 2-0.

Springfield's win bumped their record up to 11-7. As for Slaughter Community Charter, their defeat was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 5-10.

Coming up, Springfield will square off against Independence at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Slaughter Community Charter, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against De La Salle on the 11th.
