Math & Science College Preparatory took a three-set loss the last time they faced off against New West Charter, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Sharks skirted past the Eagles 3-2. The victory was familiar territory for the Sharks, who have now won four matchups in a row.

Math & Science College Preparatory was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. The final score came out to 17-25, 25-22, 20-25, 25-16, 15-10.

Math & Science College Preparatory's record is now 8-5. As for New West Charter, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Math & Science College Preparatory will host Stella High Charter Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for New West Charter, they will be playing at home against Middle College at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
