            For the second straight game, Stevenson will face off against Wayne Memorial. The Spartans will look to defend their home field  on Thursday against the Zebras  at 4:30  p.m.
Stevenson's pitching crew heads into the  match  hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed  on Tuesday. They blew past Wayne Memorial 8-0. The Spartans not only won  on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win  since May 15, 2024.
 Caden Gawkowski made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he  tossed two innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit. The dominant performance also gave  him a new career-high in  strikeouts (four). He was also big at the plate,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances.

 In other batting news,  Ben Machowicz and  Tasso Kotsogiannis did most of the damage at the plate:  Machowicz  scored a  run while going 3-for-4, while  Kotsogiannis  scored two  runs and  stole two bases while going 1-for-3. Those  three  hits gave  Machowicz a new career-high. Another player making a difference was  Peyton Yatooma, who  scored two  runs while going 2-for-4.
 Stevenson took their  victory against Wayne Memorial  in their previous meeting  on Tuesday by a conclusive  8-0 score. Will the Spartans repeat their success,  or do  the Zebras have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
