Soccer Recap: Richmond High School for the Arts Comes Up Short

Richmond High School for the Arts was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They came up short against the Monacan Chiefs, falling 9-0. While losing is never fun, Richmond High School for the Arts can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia soccer rankings (they are ranked 320th, while Monacan are ranked 113th).

Richmond High School for the Arts' defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Monacan, their win bumped their record up to 6-4-1.
