Volleyball Recap: Logan's Winning Streak Snapped at Three Games

It was a good run, but Logan unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-match winning streak on Saturday. They fell 3-1 to the Dover Crimson Tornadoes. While the Chieftains didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Crimson Tornadoes 25-21 in the first set.

Logan started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 21-25, 25-17, 25-21, 25-18.

Logan's defeat dropped their record down to 14-6. As for Dover, their victory was their 16th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 18-2.

Logan and Dover should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings. The Chieftains (ranked 174th) will meet Groveport-Madison (ranked 593rd) at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Dover will challenge New Philadelphia at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday with a big rank advantage (70 vs. 494).
