Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Smithville). They put the hurt on the Houlka Wildcats with a sharp 27-2 win on Thursday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Seminoles needed considering they were shut out in their previous match.

Smithville's victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-5. As for Houlka, they are on a 17-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-9.

Looking ahead, Smithville is taking a road trip to take on Hatley at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Houlka, they will welcome Tremont at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
