Garden Spot won the last time they faced Fleetwood and things went their way on Friday too. The Spartans put the hurt on the Tigers with a sharp 28-7 victory. With the Spartans ahead 21-0 at the half, the game was all but over already.

Garden Spot's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Gabe Martin led the charge by rushing for 140 yards and one score while picking up 8.8 yards per carry, and also throwing for 80 yards and a pair of TDs. Martin was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 59 yards. Cord? Douglas was another key rusher, rushing for 89 yards and one touchdown on only ten carries.
