Basketball Recap: Mineola Comes Up Short

Mineola came up into this matchup off a tough 36-point defeat last Tuesday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of the Malakoff Tigers by a score of 37-34 on Friday. The Yellowjackets haven't had much luck with the Tigers recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.

Mineola's loss dropped their record down to 9-16. As for Malakoff, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-4.
