South Jefferson came tearing into Wednesday's game with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 13.8 points), and they left with even more momentum. They came within five points of losing the streak, but they secured a 60-55 W against the Institute of Tech Eagles. This was a revenge game for the Spartans: when they faced off against the Eagles back in December of 2024, they had to take a 69-48 loss.

South Jefferson pushed their record up to 18-4 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road. As for Institute of Tech, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-10 record this season.
