Baseball Recap: Texas Wind Takes a Loss

Texas Wind was the 10-0 winner over Ellis County Christian Homeschool Organization when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. Texas Wind took a 6-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of Ellis County Christian Homeschool Organization on Monday.

Jon Alexander was cooking despite his team's loss, going 3-for-4 with one triple. That triple marked the first that he hit this season. Simon Jarrett was another key player, going 3-for-4 with one RBI.

Texas Wind has been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-10-1 record this season. Ellis County Christian Homeschool Organization moved to 7-8 with that win, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Texas Wind will face off against Granger at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Ellis County Christian Homeschool Organization, they will square off against All S at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
