Volleyball Recap: East Wake Takes a Loss + How To Watch

East Wake lost against Franklinton on September 9th and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Warriors lost 3-0 to the Red Rams. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-13, 25-17.

Franklinton's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Delaney Boylan led the charge by getting 12 digs. That's the most digs Boylan has posted over her last six matchups. The team also got some help courtesy of Adalyn Smith, who had three digs and two aces.

East Wake's defeat dropped their record down to 9-7. As for Franklinton, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-4.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. East Wake is set to face off against their familiar foe Vance County at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Franklinton will take on rival Wake Forest at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
