Basketball Recap: Jenison Comes Up Short

Jenison was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They were dealt a 75-37 loss at the hands of the Byron Center Bulldogs. While losing is never fun, the Wildcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 339th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 151st).

Jenison's defeat dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Byron Center, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-6 record this season.

Coincidentally, Jenison and Byron Center will both be playing Muskegon the next time they take the court. The Wildcats will host the Big Reds at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Bulldogs will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
