Softball Recap: Windermere Find Success

Windermere's game last Wednesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Seminole Seminoles a 10-0 shutout. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Wolverines considering their one-run performance the contest before.

Sabrina Boyer was incredible, going 2-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in March of 2024. Another player making a difference was Sophie Shaik, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4.

Windermere always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .531. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

The victory got Windermere back to even at 3-3. As for Seminole, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.

When Windermere and Seminole next hit the field, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Windermere will face off against Horizon and their five-game winning streak at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Seminole will try to stop Hagerty's three-game winning streak when they meet at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
