Volleyball Recap: Clearfield Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Clearfield can now relate to. They fell just short of the Alta Hawks by a score of 3-2 on Friday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Hawks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 back in September.

Clearfield wouldn't go down easily and took Alta into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking three-point loss. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-21, 23-25, 19-25, 15-12.

Clearfield's loss dropped their record down to 14-14. As for Alta, they now have a winning record of 15-14.

As of now, neither Clearfield nor the Hawks have any future games scheduled.
