Osage City has gone a perfect 10-0 against Council Grove recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Indians are taking a road trip to challenge the Braves at 4:00 p.m. Osage City is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.1 runs per game this season.

Osage City is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They blew past Northern Heights 18-3 on Monday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Indians.

Danny Cain was a standout: he went a perfect 2-for-2 with two triples, three runs, and two RBI. Those two hits gave him a new career-high. JD Tyson was another key player, scoring four runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-3.

Osage City hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. The team has now struck out at least five batters in four consecutive contests.

Meanwhile, Council Grove has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging four runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Cheney, sneaking past 12-11. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Braves have posted since April 5, 2024.

Osage City's victory bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Council Grove, their win bumped their record up to 7-1.
