Softball Recap: Loyola Academy Comes Up Short

Loyola Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 13-5 to the Christian Academy of Knoxville Warriors.

Gwen Coleman made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run while going 2-for-4. That run marked the first that she scored this season.

Loyola Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Christian Academy of Knoxville, their record is now 6-2.

Loyola Academy has already played their next matchup, a 19-4 defeat against Scott County on the 29th. As for Christian Academy of Knoxville, they will head out to challenge Grace Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
