Football Recap: Langham Creek Starts Season with Victory Against Paetow + How To Watch

Langham Creek took care of business in their home opener (barely) on Saturday. They pulled ahead with a 22-21 photo finish over the Paetow Panthers. The score was all tied up 7-7 at the break, but the Lobos were the better team in the second half.

Langham Creek's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Andre Salazar led the charge by throwing for 243 yards and two touchdowns on only 17 passes, while also rushing for 97 yards. Jordan King was another key rusher, gaining 119 total yards and a touchdown.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Langham Creek was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 201 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 172 rushing yards in six consecutive matches dating back to last season.
